On-Grid/Grid-Tied Solar System
An On-Grid Solar System, also known as a grid-tied solar system, is a solar power setup that is connected directly to the public electricity grid. It generates electricity from solar panels and supplies power to your home or business while also feeding any surplus energy back into the grid. Unlike off-grid systems, it does not require battery storage. When the solar panels produce more energy than is needed, the excess can be sold to the utility company, and when the solar production is low, power can be drawn from the grid. This system is ideal for reducing electricity bills and maximizing efficiency through net metering.
